TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – What is the Paleo Diet?

Is it, as some have said, the healthiest way you can eat because it is the ONLY nutritional approach that works with your genetics to help you stay lean, strong and energetic!

Or is it a new diet fad that has come along in our newfound, gluten-free society?

I like to think it’s a little bit of both.

I’ve always considered cooking to be quite the art form.

According to a recent study by the World Health Organization, the largest number of overweight or obese people currently reside in the United States, making it the most obese nation in the world. Increased sedentary behavior, the prevalence of novel food additives and poor genetics have all led to a huge (pardon the pun) spike in America’s obesity rates over the past decade, which are now nearing epidemic levels.
